Services
I offer a range of specialized services tailored to meet your horses individual needs. My approach is focused on understanding and responding to what you require, providing effective and practical solutions.
Cupping
Cupping for horses is a gentle, effective therapy that uses suction to lift the soft tissue and encourage increased blood flow, lymphatic drainage, and muscle release. By creating negative pressure, cupping helps break up fascial restrictions, reduce muscle tension, and improve mobility in areas that are tight or sore. This technique can be especially beneficial for horses with chronic stiffness, poor circulation, or areas of compensatory strain from training or past injuries. Many horses relax deeply during cupping sessions, and regular treatments can support faster recovery, better performance, and an overall more comfortable, balanced body.
Massage
Equine massage is a hands-on therapy that focuses on releasing tension in the horse’s muscles and soft tissues. It improves circulation, reduces stiffness, and helps restore natural movement by targeting areas of tightness or discomfort. Massage can enhance performance, support faster recovery after exercise, and reduce the risk of injury by keeping muscles flexible and balanced. It also promotes relaxation, helps relieve stress, and can improve a horse’s overall comfort and attitude. Regular massage sessions keep your horse moving freely, feeling better, and performing at their best.
Red Light/Cold laser
Red light and cold laser therapy are powerful, non-invasive treatments that support healing and performance in horses. These therapies use specific wavelengths of light to penetrate deep into the tissue, stimulating cellular repair and reducing inflammation. They help increase circulation, ease pain, and speed up recovery from muscle strain, ligament or tendon issues, and general soreness. Red light and cold laser can also improve joint mobility, support wound healing, and assist horses recovering from chronic or repetitive-use injuries. Many horses find the treatments relaxing, and regular sessions can help maintain comfort, performance, and overall wellbeing.
Kinesiology Taping
KT taping is a supportive, therapeutic technique used to help improve movement, reduce discomfort, and enhance the body’s natural healing process in horses. The elastic tape gently lifts the skin, increasing circulation and lymphatic flow to targeted areas. This can help reduce inflammation, ease muscle tension, and support strained or overworked muscles. KT taping can also improve proprioception (body awareness), encouraging more balanced and correct movement patterns. It’s commonly used to support joints, aid recovery from injuries, stabilize weak areas, and complement other bodywork therapies.
Poultice Clay
Poultice clay is a soothing, mineral-rich topical treatment used to reduce inflammation, draw out heat, and support recovery in a horse’s legs and body. When applied, the clay helps pull excess fluid and toxins from the tissues, making it especially useful after hard workouts, trailering, or strenuous events. It can ease soreness, reduce swelling, and help manage minor strains or bruising. Poultice is commonly used on legs to cool tendons and ligaments, but it can also be applied to other areas of tightness or discomfort. As it dries, it stimulates circulation and helps speed up the body’s natural healing process—keeping horses more comfortable, balanced, and ready for work. I personally make this clay from all natural ingredients and always have it on hand. I can apply, wrap and leave a tub/instructions and supplies with you! Or you can simply purchase a tub.
